The Kano state government has embarked on a Screening process to verify the 10,800 workers employed into the civil service by the Ganduje administration.
According to the Kano State Secretary to the State Government, Governor Abba Kabir is doing this because the administration has perceived that
last minute employment was done in a rush and the total number workers recruited is more than the number of workers the past administration employed in its 8 years in office.
While accepting his role as the chairman of the committee, Dr Umar Shehu Minjibir said the committee will do Justice to the process of screening the civil servants without fear or Favour and urged the members of the committee to work for the good of the state.
