The NKST Church (which translates as the Universal Reformed Christian Church) has urged the Federal Government to work hard to secure the release of Leah Sharibu.
The News Agency of Nigeria reported that more than a 100 girls from the school were abducted by alleged members of the Boko Haram.
While the other girls have since been released, Leah Sharibu remains captive.
A concerned NKST called on the government to increase efforts in view of the worldwide anxiety over her continued captivity.
The Church also urged the government to increase security in schools to prevent such attacks by bandits.
