President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to set aside their differences and celebrate the love and joy that Christmas brings.
In his Christmas message to Nigerians, president Buhari told all to look forward to the festive season, share gifts, spend quality time with family and friends, attend special carols and events, and generally relive the good moments of the year.
He said Christmas is a period for all to come to rejoice and set aside differences.”
The president maintained that there is a symbiotic relationship between Christmas and hope; Jesus Christ and humility, Christianity and grace.
Describing this Christmas as unique, Buhari said he has cherished memories about the period since he became president in 2015.
He added that it would be his last Christmas in aso rock as he has Twenty-two weeks from now to hand to another,”
