The Chief of Defence Staff, Maj. Gen. Leo Irabor has assured men of the Nigerian military of the federal government readiness to deal with issues boarding on equipment to fight against the ongoing counter-insurgency operations in the Northeast.
Maj. Gen. Irabor during his first operational visit to the Theatre Command in Maiduguri says, weapons have been procured and are in transit to Nigeria to help fight against insecurity.
He also says that the government is committed to putting the welfare of men in the frontline first.
