Detained again, Nissan ex-chief Ghosn says arrest is 'outrageous'

Carlos Ghosn, the former Nissan Motor Chairman who was ousted last year on grounds of financial misconduct and embezzlement has sued Nissan Motors at a district court in the Netherlands.

For a total sum of 16.8 million pounds in damages for firing him without properly informing him of his shortcomings and providing evidences for the accusations, two conditions which are required to fire an executive in the Netherlands.

Ghosn who was arrested last year and finally freed in April on a $4.5 million bail repeatedly claimed his innocence.
