Georgia governor Brian Kemp decided to reopen non-essential businesses in the state of Georgia in spite of the number of over 21,000 confirmed cases.
This decision has, of course, sparked some online debates and Bronx Rapper Cardi B has spoken up against this decision. Although Cardi B is a New York City native, she is also a part-time Atlanta resident.
Cardi has recently been very outspoken about the coronavirus, going out of her way to educate her fans on her Instagram live. The 27-year-old rapper let her stance on the Georgia state matter be known on Instagram.
She issued a warning to her fellow users to avoid going around in spite of the governor’s decision to reopen gyms, barbers, hairdressers, and nail salons. She admonished that they value their health over the capitalist system
