Yesterday, Canadian Fashion Mogul and multi-millionaire, Peter Nygard, was indicted on a 9-count indictment including sex trafficking, racketeering, and similar crimes involving underaged girls over the course of a 25 year period.
He is also facing litigation in Manhattan for sexual misconduct towards several women. Peter Nygard has denied all such was seen making an appearance in a Winnipeg Courthouse in Canada while wearing a facemask.
The charges claim that the women were under the influence of drugs when they were abused wither by him or his associates and mostly came from underprivileged backgrounds.
Nygard can be described as one of the wealthiest individuals in Canada after building a successful fashion brand named after him supposedly from scratch.
The story seems quite similar to the Harvey Weinstein case who was not too far away convicted for very similar crimes.
