A level of normalcy has returned to Kaduna following the imposition of a 24-hour curfew in the city.
A combined team of security personnel have taken over major roads and flashpoints in the metropolis, to avert further reprisal attacks.
The latest wave of violence in the cosmopolitan city arose from a disagreement between two youth groups of different religion.
No fewer than 55 lives were lost and several others injured when some youths attacked the market on Thursday.
