clock starts working again

A centenary clock stationed at a Buddhist temple that stopped working in 2011 after an earthquake struck has resumed with the event of a recent earthquake. The development comes as a surprise as the clock owners went to far lengths to have it repaired at the time to no avail.

Bunshun Sakano, the owner disclosed that the clock began working after 10 years on its own accord after a small earthquake struck. Momens after the recent earthquake, the clock started ticking again.

Several hypothesis have come forth as a likely reason for the clock’s sudden activity, however, Sakano believes its a sign from the universe to move forward with determination.

The clock which was submerged in a tsunmami along Japan’s north-eastern coast killed over 18,000 people in March 2011 was kept at the Fumonji Temple in Yamamoto, Miyaji in Japan, which is very close to Fukushima.
