The presiding Judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu has granted Omoyele Sowore and Olaware Bakare the conveners of the #RevolutionNow movement.
The bail was granted at the sum of 100 million with two sureties in like sum, also Sowore is expected to remain in Abuja, while the second defendant must remain in Osogbo during the trial.
In addition, the sureties must possess landed assets worth the bail sum and should deposit the original documents of the said properties with the court.
Mr Femi Falana, the defendant’s lawyer described the conditions as stringent and Sowore is expected to remain in DSS Custody until his bail conditions are met.
