Former Ekiti State governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has emerged the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for this July’s gubernatorial election in the state.
Fayemi polled 941 votes to defeat his closest rival, Segun Oni, who got 481 votes.
The Fayemi, who is also the substantive Minister Solid Minerals, was on the verge of winning the Primaries last weekend when it was suddenly disrupted by thugs.
