The Acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has decentralized the operation of the special anti-robbery squad known as F-SARS

Mr Adamu after a meeting with the senior command and control personnel of the police from across the thirty-six states of the federation in Abuja says this is part of ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the Police.
He further noted the Nigeria police force must be responsive to the desires of the public and must place the people first in their quest to rid the nation of crime and criminality
