Rangers are set to complete a loan deal for former England striker Jermaine Defoe, which will be for a duration of 18 months.
The 36-year old is in search of first-team football having made just four substitute appearances in the league this season for Bournemouth.
Defoe, who shares the same agent as Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard will bring his goalscoring experience to Ibrox, as Rangers mount a title push against arch rivals Celtic.
