Black History Month: Up North” to be screened at Facebook headquarters

Director Tope Oshin’s “Up North” movie has made it for a screening at the Facebook Menlo Park headquarters for the Black history month.


The screening will hold on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.


The movie writer,  Editi Effiong, said,  ” We are very excited, this is a huge step for us and what better way to screen a movie that promotes culture and black excellence than the month that celebrates black history. We are happy and confident everyone who sees this movie will enjoy it as much as we did.”


Singer,  Banky W,  is one of the cast in the movie which he played the role of Bassey, a rich kid who learns to be reformed during his youth service in Bauchi.


The Black History Month is an annual celebration that recognizes significant events in black history and its culture.
