Birdbox is not only grossing heavily on Netflix, but the movie has also influenced the home that was cast in the movie as a tourist attraction
Tourists have started pouring into the California suburb taking pictures with blindfolds and creating memes. The best part, most of them have been taking permissions before taking pictures.
The irony of the whole story is that the homeowner, despite making $12,000 from shooting the home has not seen the movie yet because she doesn’t own a Netflix account.
