The BBC Africa Eye Journalist who uncovered the SexForMarks scandal plaguing African Universities has attested to receiving multiple threats linked to the report.
According to her, she is pleased to have been able to create awareness on the scourge in the university system and break the system which has been unchallenged for long. She is also glad that the relevant authorities have stepped in to address the situation.
She, however, claims that despite the threats, she feels confident because BBC has a robust security system in place and the decent amount of prayers before embarking on the project.
