Bayelsa Polls: APC and PDP Representatives go head to head at Stakeholders Meeting

Drama as the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and the All Progressives Congress APC almost engage each other at the Bayelsa Stakeholders meeting in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.

The meeting which was organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC with at aim at engaging stakeholders on the electoral body’s preparedness towards the oncoming governorship polls.

Both parties were involved in a heated exchange of words as stakeholders voiced their opinions, reservations and worries about the November elections.

All hell was let loose when the PDP representatives accused their APC counterpart of violence during the February two thousand and Nineteen general elections in Nembe Local Government Area, resulting to several displaced persons, this did not go down well with the APC representatives present, who claimed the PDP were muddling up the facts.

The meeting had to be called to an end to prevent an escalation of the situation.
