Bayelsa Generates ₦13.6bn IGR in 2018

The Bayelsa State Government has declared the sum of 13.6 billion Naira as Internally Generated Revenue for the year 2018. 

Governor Seriake Dickson, represented by his Deputy, Gboribiogha Jonah, made the announcement on Thursday, while briefing journalists on the income and expenditure of the state for the months of November and December 2018. 

Jonah said the net inflow from the Federal Allocation Account Committee, FAAC, to the state for both November and December stood at 13.6 billion Naira, with a total of 15.2 billion Naira as gross inflow for both months. 

The Bayelsa State Government, therefore, announced the sum of 4.1billion Naira as the amount in the state’s coffers as at the end of December 2018 after recurrent and capital expenditure.
