Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force have been charged to shun any act capable of tarnishing the image and integrity of the Command.

The state’s newly posted Commissioner of Police, Sylvester Abiodun, gave the charge while interacting with men of the Police Force at the Command’s Headquarters in Bauchi.

The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Bauchi State Command said the force remains resolute to bring sanity to the Nigerian Police Force, for effective security operation in the state.

On the issue of banditry, cattle rustling, and abduction of school children, mostly affecting the northern part of the country, CP Sylvester directed all the Divisional Police Officers to deploy security across the schools to prevent the students from the scourge of abductors.

While assuring adequate security of lives and properties of the citizens across the state, the Commissioner of Police enjoined the citizens to always assist the force with useful and verified information, to enhance their operation.
