Bandits Kidnap 300 Schoolgirls In Zamfara

Bandits have kidnapped at least 300 students of the Government Girls Science Secondary School, Jangebe, Zamfara State.

The students were abducted in the early hours of Friday in an operation that lasted at least four hours.

The bandits arrived the school in a convoy of Hilux vehicles and motorcycles which they used to whisk the girls away.

The Zamfara State Police Command has not confirmed the incident. It, however, told reporters to expect a press statement on the development.
