The Labour Party has been declared winner of the concluded House of Assembly elections held in Umuahia Central, Umuahia East, Umuahia South and Aba North state constituencies in ABIA state by INEC.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress candidate for Umuahia North state constituency seat, Akaliro Anderson has been announced the winner of the election in the area.
He scored a total number of 3, 079 votes to defeat Ugochukwu Ezeocha Kenneth of the PDP who polled 2,258, while Asiegbu Nnaji Obed of the YPP scored 2064 votes and Ikpo Ugochukwu of the APGA polled 566 votes.
