The Deputy Director Public Relations of the Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole, Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu, confirmed in a statement on Friday.
The Nigerian Army has killed several Boko Haram terrorists in Zari village in Guzamala Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to him, the insurgents were on the rampage to loot the community and extort money from villagers.
They, however, met fierce resistance by the Land troops of Operation Lafiya Dole, who were also supported by troops of the Air Task Force.
