The Nigerian Army has burst illegal fishing and trading ring being operated by the terrorist group Boko Haram.
The operation which was done via a partnership with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps in Borno state saw tonnes of Fish being smuggled by Boko Haram into Borno markets via the popular Gamboru-Ngala road, intercepted and set on fire.
The theatre commander of Operation Lafiya Dole Major General Olusegun Adeniyi while warning traders in Borno state to shun transacting business with the terrorist group says the Army is on the ground to truncate such transactions and apprehend those involved.
