Remember Apple Maps? Ever since the product has been released since 2012, the app has failed to gather the attention of users as they have always deferred to the popular Google maps.
However, it seems Apple has gotten a wake-up call and wishes to give its maps feature a major overhaul.
It plans to launch it alongside the next version of the ios 12 beta only in San Francisco and the Bay area in the United States.
The company disclosed that it also wishes to gather data from users to help make the map service as robust as possible.
