Moon Lander Bid

Elon Musk is loving NASA these days following SpaceX’s recently secured $2.9 billion contract to build a spacecraft to take astronauts to the moon come 2024.

SpaceX overshadowed Jeff Bezo’s BlueOrigin and Dynetics Inc, a defense contractor to secure the contract. Bezos in typical fashion took to Twitter to celebrate his win with a cryptic “NASA Rules!!” caption as the announcement was made.

SpaceX will be expected to makea test flight of the lander to the moon before humans ever do, a NASA Official disclosed. NASA is planning to create regular service to the moon according to Mark Kirasich, NASA’s Deputy associate Director at the Advanced Exploration Systems Division.

This further establishes Elon Musk’s conglomerate as a technology syndicate.
