The leadership of the Ondo State House of Assembly says the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, has not invited the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun, has reported in major newspapers
Currently, the anti-graft agency is investigating some civil servants over alleged multimillion Naira fraud rocking the Assembly.
Addressing reporters in Akure, Ondo State capital, the Chairman House Committee on Information, Gbenga Omole, said there is no iota of truth in the news that the Speaker has been invited by the EFCC.
He, however, admitted that some staff of the Assembly are currently being quizzed at the EFCC office.
Omole added that the House will continue to maintain and uphold its integrity.
