Aliko Dangote has projected that his business turnover would be $30 billion within the next two years. This feat is attainable if several uncompleted projects by the company are completed according to sources.
The refinery and fertilizer to mention a few of the uncompleted projects would increase the turnover of the business when completed.
Although the company’s annual turnover is $4 billion currently, Aliko Dangote is hopeful for a huge increase in the amount of turnover by 2022. Dangote group are notable for supplying Sugar to soft drink companies, breweries, and refineries in the country.
The Dangote Group is now the largest industrial group in Nigeria. Dangote Sugar Refinery is the biggest in Nigeria, the largest in Africa and the third-largest in the world.
The billionaire African businessman praised the government on its focus on the Agricultural sector which in no doubt would increase the Gross Domestic Profit of the country.
Now the country won’t follow the one-lane road of depending on the Oil sector for the country’s growth.
He also gave kudos to the government for devising means to gather more money from taxes as the tax generated in the country is relatively low.
Taking foot in the right direction with Aliko Dangote’s collaboration will Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Nigeria is said to be declared Polio free. This also translates the whole of Africa being declared free of Polio. Aliko Dangote also said in his interview.
