AIG zone 10 visit Zamfara to boost Police operatives morales

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 10, Kebbi, Sokoko, and Zamfara States, AIGP Ali Janga, has assured residents of the three states of improved security in the affected communities.

He said the police with other security agencies will soon end the incessant attacks, killings, and abduction in Kebbi, Sokoko, and Zamfara States and the country in general to restore peace and security of lives and property of the citizens.

AIGP Janga gave the assurance during his maiden visit to Zamfara State to deliver the message of Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba, to officers and men of the State Police Command in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.

He then moved swiftly to inspect guards of honour as his first assignment in Zamfara State.

The AIG Janga, thereafter, proceeded to address officers and men of the Zamfara State Police in the frontline of fighting banditry, kidnapping, and cattle rustling and to deliver the message of IGP Baba towards boosting the morales of the operatives.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the police and other security agencies to overcome the insecurity in the affected states and to ensure the return of peace and security.

AIG Janga emphasized that the police is building a robust confidence and trust of communities to support the security operatives with credible intelligence that could assist them get rid of the criminals.

The one-day working visit of the Assistant Inspector General of Police is coming when attack, killing, and abduction in Zamfara State have been escalating in recent time.
