At least two persons have been reportedly shot on Saturday in Itaji Ekiti, Oye local Government area of Ekiti state.
Eye witness account noted that trouble started when some suspected Political thugs attacked the campaign train of the former governor Segun Oni, the Governorship candidate of the social democratic party.
Reacting to the incident, A chieftain of the SDP, Bimbo Daramola pointed accusation at the members of the all progressive congress, APC in the state saying they were trying to undermine the campaigns of the SDP Governorship candidate, Segun Oni for the fear of being defeated.
