The National Labour Congress (NLC) has refused to back down on its planned two-day nationwide protest, billed to hold on Tuesday, July the 26th and Wednesday, July the 27th in support of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) despite the two-week ultimatum issued by President Muhammadu Buhari.
At least 40 unions, including the aviation workers, will participate in the rally called in solidarity with the striking ASUU which has shut down public universities since February 14th over the failure of the Federal Government to meet its demands.
