Nigerian artiste, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan is dead He died in a U.S. hospital where he was undergoing treatment for throat cancer. He was 44 years old.
A close associate of the artiste confirmed the news to reporters on Sunday.
Sound Sultan, whose career in show business started in the 1990s is survived by his wife, three children, and siblings.
Since the news of his death broke early hours of Sunday, members of the Nigerian entertainment industry have been posting tributes in his honour.
