500,000 rural dwellers receive start up capital

Over five hundred thousand rural dwellers across the five states of Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Cross River and Kano have received rural aid and startup capital for their livelihoods in the last five years.

This was revealed by the President of the Health Initiative for Safety and Stability in Africa HIFASS Roland Oritsejafor at the recent dissemination of Local Partners for Orphans and Vulnerable children project in Nigeria.

Mr Oritsejafor says the Region known as Region three, covering the five states received support and free medical assistance for beneficiaries and poor residents.
