3 Lawyers have appeared before the Ikeja Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly assaulting an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission detective identified as Mrs Patience Kalu earlier today.
They have been identified as Lateef Abdulsalam, 55, Evans Okwuede, 45 and Abiodun Kolawole, 48, and all have been identified as members of the Nigerian bar Association.
They have also been charged on counts of conspiracy, resisting a public officer and assault. The trio has however pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against them.
The Chief Magistrate, O.A Layinka adjourned the case till May 15 for
