Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has taken his presidential campaign to Adamawa and Taraba States to woo APC delegates ahead of the party primaries.
Osinbajo was received by Governors Darius Ishaku of Taraba and Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, both of the PDP at the airport before he headed for the scheduled meeting.
At the end of the closed door meeting, VP commended the conduct of the delegates who assured him of total support in the coming presidential primary.
Fielding questions from newsmen shortly after, Osinbajo expressed satisfaction with the turnout of the delegates.
Some delegates who spoke with reporters expressed their views on the outcome of the meeting and said the VP remains the aspirant to beat.
He also visited the palace of Lamido of Adamawa for royal blessings.
