The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Bayelsa says the state now has a total of one million, two hundred and fifty thousand, one hundred and two registered voters.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Emmanuel Hart, made this known during a stakeholders meeting with political parties and civil society organizations in Yenagoa.
INEC urged them to encourage those who partook in the recent voter registration exercise to make themselves available to collect their PVCs – to be able to cast their votes on the day of election.
