Salesforce is taking a bold step by helping its staff relocate away from Texas should they wish to in the wake of the new abortion regulation that is now turning heads. The organization is the first of many to take such a step.
The company released a statement that stated that it supports its women and is willing to help facilitate an immediate move. Texas recently passed a very controversial bill into law that considers any abortion procedure done after six weeks or a heartbeat is detected, whichever comes soonest, a crime in its jurisdiction.
Although the United States Department of Justice has challenged the ruling, the law is already in effect on Thursday, Salesforce CEO, Marc Benioff disclosed in an interview with CNN Business that Business is the best platform for change.
