Indian PM Narendra Modi just yesterday signed a $3 billion arms deal trade with the United States President, Donald Trump after a 10 million audience rally in Ahmedabad for Trump’s first official visit to the country.
India is still struggling with the new citizenship law, with at least 10 deaths in Delhi recorded yesterday in the midst of the rally.
Many have presumed that this is all part of a big political strategy for Trump to first secure Indian-American voters and also a successful trade deal with India which is currently valued at $160 billion which suffered some setbacks after Trump terminated the Generalised System of Preferenbenefit in 2019.
