The globe is in shock as former CEO of Nissan/Renault has been embroiled in a financial misconduct trial amazingly escaped Japan’s 24-hour surveillance foiling his bail condition which prohibits him from travelling and arriving in Lebanon.

It comes as no surprise that Carlos of his three nationalities chose Lebanon as the country continued to show support for him despite the many scandals that plagued the former executive.

How he did it is really the bone of contention as Japanese authority only discovered the heist after the former executive arrived in Lebanon and met with the President.

There are reports that Carlos arrived in Lebanon via a private jet, meanwhile, his lawyers claim to still be in possession of Carlos’ 3 passports.

Meanwhile, Japanese prosecutors continue to search the home in Tokyo where the now fugitive and former executive Chairman lived while he was on bail.

Up till this moment, the database of the Immigration Services Agency has no report of Ghosn’s departure from Japan.

Ghosn’s statement on arrival in Lebanon did nothing to douse the controversy but instead generated more speculation as he said the following…

“I am now in Lebanon and will no longer be held hostage by a rigged Japanese justice system where guilt is presumed,” he said. “I have not fled justice—I have escaped injustice and political persecution.”
