The Police Service Commission has replaced the state Commissioner of Police. CP Edgal is replaced with Mu’azu Zubairu, who will resume as the new Commissioner of Police.

Fromerly, Zubairu held the position of the Commissioner of police in Akwa Ibom state.
This development came as a result of the approval and deployment of the 37 Command commissioners of Police for the 36 states and the FCT.
