The European Union has reacted to the comments by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, about non-interference by foreigners in the general elections.
The Kaduna Governor was reported saying that members of the Global Democratic Institutions who are not working for a peaceful election in Nigeria will return to their countries in body bags.
His comments have however drawn the attention of the opposition party, threatening to withdraw the peace accord that was signed.
A statement by the Press Secretary to the EU Observer Mission, Sarah Fradgley, stated that they (EU) do not interfere in elections but rather analysis and make suggestions.
