Yemen’s army has killed at least 20 members of the Iran-backed Houthi militia and others wounded on Friday in clashes that took place in the southern province of Dalih, according to reports by the Saudi state-news agency SPA .
The Yemeni military sources said that the clashes broke out between the two sides while militants tried to infiltrate army positions.
The clashes resulted in the deaths of 18 militia members, including two field commanders called Mohammed Abdullah al-Musami and Mohsen Riab, in addition to wounding 12 others.
