A boat en route Ikoyi from Ilashe area of Lagos in South-West Nigeria capsized at about 7.24 pm on Tuesday.
The boat, according to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, appears to have collided with an unidentified object.
A total of 10 persons including nine adult males and a female were involved in the incident. They have, however, been successfully rescued from the water .
A second boat with seven passengers was also found to be in distress with a rescue operation still on-going.
