Watford’s captain, Troy Deeney has been charged by the FA over comments he made about referee David Coote after his side’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Bournemouth.
During a post-match interview, Deeney was critical of David Coote’s decisions during the match, especially not sending off Bournemouth’s Dan Gosling for a horrific tackle – Deeney accused Coote of bottling it.
Troy Deeney has until 6 pm on the 15th of January to respond to the charge.
