Carlo Ancelotti is on the verge of completing a hat-trick of signings to strengthen his midfield with the imminent signing of Abdoulaye Doucoure from Championship side Watford.
The 27-year-old French man has been a stalwart player for Watford since his arrival in the 2017/18 Premier League season. Irrespective of the Watford woes, Doucoure has been a consistent performer.
The 6ft former Rennes youngster has established himself as a solid box to box midfielder in the EPL. He also contributes with goals and assists as he has registered 17 goals and 12 assists in 129 appearances.
Doucoure is set to cost The Toffees £23 million. However, this is a great deal for a player who will make the Everton solid and compact. Also, he will provide competition for new Signing Allan, Tom Davies, Fabian Delph and Andre Gomes.
