Today With John & Helen: How to deal with everyday Triggers

The second segment of today with John and Helen with Feran talked about common triggers and understanding them, guest Oladapo Filani, a JMT Certified Coach, Speaker & Trainer says a trigger is anything that can make you recall an experience which could be positive or negative which ranges from color, odor, songs, words amongst others.

There’s usually known evidence of triggers, one of which is being out of balance, the heart is palpitating, not thinking straight, and not being able to focus but to understand the triggers you have to be more self-aware.

He said there are proven mechanisms of handling triggers but you have to go find it, from being self-aware to taking note of what kind of environment, words make you react in certain ways.

It’s about doing things in the morning that allows you to condition your mind, body, and spirit, take charge of your morning and what you do within the first 15minutes of your day because it shapes the color of your day.
