Fight to Finish at Ethiopia's Tigray Region!

The offensive in Ethiopia is not ending anytime soon if the threats by the TPLF officials are anything to go by. The Ethiopian Prime Minister and former Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Abiy Ahmed had ordered the TPLF forces in a 3-day ultimatum which ends today to surrender.

The instruction has been defied and today makes it the third day of that warning. The 500,000 residents of Mekelle, the capital of Tigray, have been advised to leave/ “save themselves” from the impending doom as “anything can happen”.

Abiy Ahmed has asked all interfering external forces to hold off interference in the ongoing crisis on grounds that when it becomes necessary, he would seek assistance.

Reports have it that for the past three weeks, the federal troops have dislodged TPLF forces from almost all the urban parts of the region including Axum, Adwa, Humera and Alamata

The TPLF Officials have however have disclosed that even after Mekelle falls, they still have forces controlling the rural Tigray and there is no Military solution but only a political one.

At this point, few hours from the expiration of the curfew, only time will tell.
