Taraba State Governor Assures that flyover project in State capital is of standard

Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku, has called for the interest and unity of the state to be considered first, rather than malicious actions that will breed contempt.

The Governor said the ongoing flyover and road dualization projects in Jalingo the state capital will serve the Taraba people, irrespective of differences.

The ongoing construction of a flyover and dualization of Jauro-Yinu,Jalingo and Kpantinapu roads in the suburbs, and Jalingo the Taraba State capital, is expected to be a pathway for Jalingo residents and travellers passing through the state. 

The project which also has pedestrian bridges is expected to be completed in November, will go a long way in decongesting traffic in one of the busiest routes in Jalingo. 

Governor Ishaku said the project is strategic and of a good standard, that will stand the test of time, contrary to rumours by detractors that the bridge has collapsed. 

Governor Ishaku was speaking when he received the people of Kaka extraction from the Mambilla Plateau. 

The state government is spending 34 billion Naira on the flyover and the road dualization projects and is expected to be commissioned at the end of this year.
