American singer and songwriter, Solána Imani Rowe, popularly known as SZA clears the air about the relationship with Canadian rapper, Drake, after he mentioned her in a new song ‘Mr Right Now.’
Drake in this song featuring 21-SAVAGE talked about how he used to date SZA in 2008. He said: “Yeah, said she wanna f*ck to some SZA, cause I used to date SZA back in 08.”
The song is a part of the 21-Savage new album Savage Mode 2. Since the revelation by Drake, fans stormed social media as they pointed out SZA was underage when this relationship happened.
SZA took to Twitter on Sunday to explain her part as she said: They actually dated in 2009 and not 2008 and Drake probably wanted to rhyme that’s why he said that.
She further explained that she was not underage and there was nothing creepy about the relationship as it was completely innocent and happened a long time ago.
According to sources, SZA is not happy about Drake’s revaluation to the public and she has unfollowed him on Instagram since the release of Mr. Right Now.
