Liverpool’s Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane had his house burgled during his club’s UEFA Champions League match against Bayern Munich at Anfield on Tuesday.
The 26-year old lives in Allerton, south of Liverpool and played the entire duration of the match while his house was burgled.
Items such as watches, mobile phones, and car keys were stolen from the house, as no one was in the property at the time.
Police investigation is underway, with forensic examinations underway to ascertain the culprits.
This is the second time Mane’s house will be burgled, after the first incident in 2017 happened while he was at Anfield for Liverpool’s UCL game against Maribor.
