Resident doctors Suspend 2 months Strike

National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has suspended its 62-day-old strike on compassionate grounds.

The President of the Association, Godiya Ishaya, in an interview with reporters, said the government has implemented some of their demands while others are still pending.

He stated that work will officially resume on October 6, 2021.

It will be recalled that the doctors embarked on strike on August 2, 2021.
